When you first log in to Horse isle 2, you are placed at welcome isle. The purpose of Welcome isle is to introduce you to Horse isle itself, its where you complete your first quest and receive your first dollar. Make sure you look around and get use to the controls, they might be a bit hard at first but they will get easier.
Here is a picture of Welcome isle, isn't it pretty? :)
Everyone starts out here and as you already may know everyone is on one server.
Below is a list of all the buttons you will find that will help you very much so, located above your message screens. :)
Okay! Great job on Welcome Isle if you did the quest for Mr. Welcomer correctly! Now all we need to do is use our money to get off Welcome Isle and onto the Mainlands.
(The above picture is not what the Welcome Isle dock house routes look like)
There are many ways to get around horse isle, from docks, to rowboats, to wagons.
As you can see, each destination has its fee, so be sure to have some money with you! :)
When a player's name is blue, it means that they are subscribed or paying customers to the website. You can see more about this right here.
A non-paying player has less benefits and their name appears in white, as seen here.
As you can see, this player has no horse to ride! How will she get it one? Keep reading :)
There are several ways to earn money, luckily for everyone! Here are a few examples.
1.Pop Quizzes! When these come up in the right chat bar, you can type !Q in order to answer the quiz question. If you get the quiz right, you get $1000! Here is an example:
Don't know the answer? As you can see, you have 45 seconds to look it up! :)
2.Riddle Boxes! Suppose you are riding/walking around, when you suddenly stumble upon a purple box with a question mark. This is a riddle box, and you get a lot of money if you can answer the riddles right! There are riddle boxes on nearly every isle, and they each have 3 riddles to answer. The prize money is $2500 for each correct answer!
3.Picking Things! As you will learn on Welcome Isle, it is possible to click the greenery and other things of Horse Isle in order to harvest their fruits. These can be sold at General Stores which our found around town. Be generous, and take only what you need!
4. Questing! What is a quest? A quest is something you can do for NPC's (Non player computer/people who don't really exist or play the game) to earn rewards! You can simply start a quest by going up to an NPC, clicking them, and clicking talk. You can see your quests and things on the "Quests" button located above your chat screens.
As you can see, making money shouldn't be a problem for you! Have fun!
When you are a new player, you might find the easiest way to get a horse is by earning 20k (k stands for thousand, m for million) to spend on a horse at the livery. The livery is a big red barn in most towns with an arena. To buy adopt your horse, click the NPC (non computer player) and press "Adopt."
Now, a list of the horses avaliable for adoption will show. When you see a horse you might be interested in, click on the "View" button to see what it looks like and what its profile looks like.
<Here is what you press to adopt.
<This space shows the name, breed, gender, coloring, and other details.
<Here is where you select what to do with the horse.
< This shows what the horse is wearing.
<This area shows the description, the experience, feed levels, and other things. There is much more to explore on a horse's profile then shown here! :)
So now that you have your first horse, you need to know how to ride it, care for it, and more.
To buy tack, go to a tack shop and use money to buy a saddle, bridle/halter, and a saddle pad/saddle blanket. By going to different tack shops you will find that there are several different types of tack, some cheaper and some more expensive. The cheapest place to buy tack is at the GlacierTon,TigerTon, or DryTon tack shop.
You can take your horse to the livery to get it fed and watered and rested, so you can ride it. To avoid going to the livery you could feed it things you buy or pick; to get it watered you can have it drink from troughs scattered around towns when riding it, or from buckets of water you buy and fill from wells(which are also scattered around). If you have a ranch, you can take your horse there and it will be rested.
All horses love to be groomed and petted! You can stroke your horse by going to the horse's profile and dragging your cursor over the horse's body. It will make horse-noises and in your right chat screen it will tell you when your horse's mood or groom goes up. :)
To improve your horse's bond, you can buy pets and put them with the horse.
To care for your own needs, you can visit your ranch or go to an inn and purchase food, drink, and sleep, or eat things you pick! :)
You will see lots of other people while you are around town, so why not try clicking them, talking to them, and more?
<Here is this player's username. Since it is blue, it means she is subscribed.
<Looking allows you to see this player's profile. Trading allows you to trade with this player. Adding Buddy allows you to be friends with them, know when they get on, and talk to them in buddy chat. PMing them means you talk to them where only you two can see each other's chat. Socialing them means doing something interesting, like smiling, hugging, or jumping around with them!
Now that you have successfully gotten to the Mainland, learned how to earn your spending money, bought and equipped a horse, and added a few buddies, you're on your own! Every day you'll learn something new I'll bet you, and have a blast! So have some fun and thank goodness you've figured it out! :)
Look! She now can ride her horse :)
